Squadron Leader Aditi Ghosh was commissioned into the Education Branch of Indian Air Force on 26 Apr 12. She holds a Masters’ Degree in English Literature and Business Administration (MBA). She also holds a PG Diploma in Educational Administration from National Institute of Educational Planning and Administration (NIEPA).
The officer is in the field of Education/Training since her commissioning and has held various key appointments as Senior Education Officer, Executive Director of Air Force Schools and as Adjutant at premier Air Force bases. She has also had a tenure at the prestigious National Defence Academy (NDA) as an instructor. Prior to taking over as Vice Principal on 22 May 24, the officer was posted to Airmen Training School Belagavi as an Instructor. For her outstanding contribution to service, the officer was commended by Air Officer Commanding-in-Chief, Training Command in 2023.
The officer is married to Lt Cdr Abhijeet Sarkar (Retd., Indian Navy), an MBA degree holder and is presently working in an MNC in Bangalore. The couple is blessed with a son, Viaan Sarkar.
